Pirate Explore

Arrr me hearties!!  We have had a fabulous week learning about all things to do with pirates.  One of our favourite things was making treasure maps and then finding treasure on our 'pirate ships'.  We also made treasure chests and pirate masks.  We enjoyed playing pirates with the Te Takaro and using the pirate apps to play pirate games.

    Penny particularly enjoyed this explore, (should I be worried about a future career as a pirate) we had lots of chats about what a pirate was, what they did and why there aren't really any pirates any more...
    She also did lots of crafting and made a map and mask for Addison.
    Very cool to be able to see how much fun they get up to in class.
